WHY LUMEN
A journal is a line. A life is a constellation.
A person, a song, or a place can connect moments years apart. Lumen links them by who was there, what you felt, and where you were.

Explore
Wander your constellation. Follow a person, a place, or a season through the years.
04
Relive

Clear answers before you begin
Privacy, pricing, ownership, and the limits of what Lumen does.
A private memory journal, on the web today, with an iPhone app in private TestFlight beta. It organises entries around the people, feelings, places, and moments in your life, so you can revisit connections a chronological diary hides.
No. Lumen does not intentionally use private journal entries to train a public AI model. Core journaling works without external AI. AI is off for each account until the writer accepts a separate provider disclosure, and only the limited content needed for an explicitly requested feature is sent.
The free plan includes unlimited text memories, guided questions, Journal, Universe and Insights views, search, sync, private reminders, and JSON or ZIP export.
The prepared U.S. App Store price is $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. New purchases are not open yet; when they open, the iPhone paywall will show Apple's final price in your storefront and currency before purchase.
New Lumen Plus purchases are not open yet. Existing Apple purchases can still be restored and managed in the iPhone app. There is no card checkout on the website.
Yes. Export your account as JSON, or as a ZIP archive including stored attachments. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated journal data from the account controls.
No. Lumen is a tool for personal journaling and reflection, not a medical, mental health, crisis, legal, or financial service. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional when you need urgent help.
We record life, but we rarely get to see its shape.
Lumen gives memory a shape. Private text memories are free, with no card and no feed.
